“Silence” by Male 19
by TheCat · Published · Updated
When I was five I was forced
Used and abused
Filled with dread every time
My bedroom door would whine
He’d come into my bed
Instinct telling me to play dead
I’d pretend it was a dream
Even when he made me scream
I tried so hard to be strong
But I was broken before long
The dark was what set him free
To do whatever he wanted to me
I began to believe his lies
Stifling my anguished little cries
It was his duty to the male race
To put me in my place
Earning what was between my legs
Offered myself like a w**** who begs
For quite some time after he was gone
I believed my body wasn’t mine, for so long
All seemed blind to what I had endured
I suppressed my memories as I matured
Soon it was all like a bad dream
I finally got help when I was eighteen
