Last ray of the sun
Taking my daily walk on the hill behind our house… well, it hasn’t actually quite been daily lately, but it is the second time in less than a fortnight … anyway, up on the hill I managed to catch the last ray of the sun hitting our offices. I should really be getting out more, living in West Highlands – land of the setting sun. Ok, setting sun doesn’t sound as romantic as the Japanese “land of the rising sun” but we have the ocean on the west side of us, so sunsets are generally more spectacular than sunrises here. Anyway, the mood of Mossytop today was tranquil, restful – the void lurking beneath was not a tangible presence as sometimes, but rather a carefree lack of concern about the daily lives of us mortals. Mossytop didn’t care about the sunset or me looking at it, but in a rather friendly way.
PS: In case you don’t know, this is our office building (with a horse transport at our main entrance):
